Turkeys in Disguise
The second graders in Mrs. Stadnik's second grade class at Hedden Elementary recently worked on persuasive writing in a very novel and engaging way. They were asked to disguise a paper turkey and then write persuasive piece to convince their audience that they weren't a turkey and thus sparing them from a deadly fate during this holiday season. Their families joined in the fun by helping create the disguise.
