Working on the Work (WOW) - Examples of Student Engagement

Mr. Wolfe's and Mrs. McGhee's classes (as a follow up activity to their BizTown trip) went down to the Fife High School student store, "The Hot Spot," to learn about advertising and selling a product.  Our June 9 field trip was "sweet," as they got to design, advertise, and eat their own smoothies!  HIGHLY engaging!  Thanks to Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Hilzendegger, Mrs. Johnson, and all the high school students that helped us out! The Hedden Running Team had the first place finisher for the third year in a row at the Sound to Narrows 2K Shuffle race on June 12.  Team members completed 26.2 miles over the course of the last month to run the equivalent of a marathon!
